    I have had between £130 and £170 for the last two cars I have scrapped.
  • Apparently the best price to scrap a car in Liverpool, is on the docks. That's where all the scrap yards take theirs - no idea about anything else as it was on a Facebook page / argument about somebody's sheddy old car that they were trying to shift.

    Try Murphys on Corportion road, they are giving good prices on the scales at the moment, if its a decent car for breaking for spares call Wirral Spares for a price.

    Birkenhead isn't in Liverpool.

  • Liverpool docks *
    mersey tunnel
    * Birkenhead

    it's 5 miles away. The OP doesn't say that the car doesn't / can't move, and depending where in Birkenhead the OP is, the docks could be closer

    There is nowhere in Birkenhead that is closer to liverpool than to a local scrapyard, there are at least a dozen within 1 mile of the tunnels on the Wirral side.

  • well i don't live there so i don't know. but like i said on my first post, a Facebook page discussion / argument said that the place on the docks pays the best as it's where all the other places take them.

    Although I'm guessing you're from the Wirral and don't like to be associated with Liverpool?
