Im having a snowflake theme, but not too much. Ive got snowflake brooches in my bouquets, snowflakes on the place cards and invites, snowflake confetti for the evening. On the sweetie buffet my sign has snowflakes, and the guest book. Im having burgundy and ivory flower centrepieces, and table diamonds, oh, and my favour bag have snowflakes!
  • We're having snowflakes too, silver, white and pale blue. Snowflakes on the invites, tableplan, place cards, confetti for tables, sweetie bags, matalan had snowflake tin bowls £5 each 3 for 2 (got those for the dessert buffet), postbox, guest book, cake and cupcakes, I think thats it. Just over 4 weeks to go and I'm seeing snowflakes in my sleep!

Anyone seen that EZ snow stuff they sell in Harrods? It's pretty cool! The Arabs were all other that sh*t man, but not so keen on fake sand.

My daughters wedding is a very informal, mostly family, party. There will be approx 120 guests which will included all nieces and nephews. Her theme is also snowflakes. The wedding is a week on Saturday and I am currently in the middle of making soap, turquoise, shaped as snowflakes. A very inexpensive and quick favor. I have bagged them and we are putting toppers on the bags. They look amazing and each batch of 6 takes me about 10 min to make and other 5 min to wrap etc once set.

No snowflakes but a winter theme i came across on pintrest http://www.stylemepretty.com/2011/12/23/winter-wedding-inspiration-shoot-by-simply-fabulous-events-and-design/
I have no practiacal use for one but i know what a tiny sequin tablecloth!
  • That sounds like a lovely theme. When I got married my dress was called 'snowflake' and had little beads on the skirt which were in a snowflake design.

What about having snowflake stickers on the windows? You can get ones that just cling rather than being sticky so are easy to remove. There are lots on here.

We have some that were from chubbypineapple (the ones at the top)

    Happy wedding planning x
  • Hi Trixie,

Hope your wedding planning is going well.

I really have to recommend you look at the Facebook group, 'Baking Hot Christmas'. Every now and them, they post some lovely snowflake DIY projects!

This one is one of my favourites, would be lovely with a romantic book (inexpensive from a charity shop) and glitter to suit your colour theme!
