Attempting to make our own, but struggling to find card that is cheap enough to justify not just paying someone to just make them. Ribbon and card seem quite expensive.
We got our card and envelopes at papercard.co.uk. £50 for 75xA5 Card(invitations), 75xSquare envelopes(invitations) and 75xA6 envelopes(SAE for RSVP). Was slightly more expensive as I opted for glued envelopes instead of lick and stick ones.Married 30/08/14 :heartpuls0 -
Will be getting mine from craftcreations (with a .com, sorry won't let me post links as still a new user...)
Going to be around the £30 to £40 mark for what we need. Can't remember exact numbers of what I need now though (apologies had a wisdom tooth out yesterday and it's starting to hit me this morning) Having 60 day guests and about 120 evening. Will be using 144mm square cards for the invites, and 125mm square for the RSVP'S. plus matching envelopes, place cards, possibly order of service cards.
You can pick and choose the quality of card and envelope, so you can have (ahem) slightly better quality card for day guests than evening, or certain guests that will save them as a keepsake (mums and dads, grandparents, yourselves etc)
HTH.
Steph those invites do look stunning btw! Well done!0 -

You might be best trying here http://www.papercutz.co.uk/
I had a problem printing the invites with the card cut to size so you might be best buying sheets of card printing them then cutting them down? You might have a problem with pearlescent card printing I'd try one piece first before you order a load, with papercutz you can order a sample pack
At least you have plenty of time to do them0 -

We always get our card for invites from PDA craft. They have a fabulous choice of colours, finish & sizes. The service is exceptional. I emailed them an order on Saturday and said it was urgent, it arrived today. Our daughter marries on Saturday! And she decided she did what to make Order of Service. It is a lovely relaxed wedding so they weren't going to bother. The theme is snowflakes with the colour of turquoise. She printed out the order of service and then embossed the bottom, approx 3cm, with a patter of different snowflakes and then mounted on card. They look wonderfulNothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

i have ordered a sample pack just waiting for it to arrive. iv had a second idea about invites the original was just a piece of card post card sort of size printed and embelished but if that doesnt work il make them as actual cards with a paper insert. so next question what do you use as inserts couldnt find any on website so do you have to buy paper and cut it to size? i would much prefer ready made inserts.iv done 3 things right in my life and their all perfect
