outlook express files

how do i move my saved files in outlook express from my old computer to my new one? :-/

I put mine on a floppy disk, then copied them onto the new PC

Do you mean the program files? I only did it with my address book and a few e-mails I wanted to keep.

have you any other media device? cd writer/zip drive/usb pen? is the computer networked. if you answered yes to any of the above then save to that location instead.

if you don't have the above a fiddlier way is to create more folders and copy mails into them. Doing that though, you have to keep each dbx file (folder) under 1.44mb.


Or... get some webspace, upload and then download to the new pc

Thanks all for the replies, scheming_gypsy to the rescue again as I didnt have zip drive or usb pen but must get one as it seems to be a tool of the trade for all data storage, any cheap deals?
