i need to book a lodge for 4 nights for a conference soon.
it says on website that:
night 1 is £70
night 2 is£26
night 3 is £26
night 4 is £70
whats the best way of booking this? Does it have to be 3 separate bookings or can i book it as one booking under 1 confirmation number?
Or if i book it as 3 separate bookings do i just inform the hotel to keep the same room at the time (family room).
(note i may not be using the booking as sometimes i pass it on to friends attending)

We once booked London Ilford Travelodge as 2 separate bookings for the 2 consecutive nights, since it was cheaper than doing one booking. When we arrived, we just informed Reception of the 2 bookings and they assured us we could stay in the same room. We just had to pay each day separately. It wasn't in the Travelodge's interest to force us to move rooms as then they would have 2 rooms to clean instead of one.
I think in your case if you do separate consecutive bookings it will also be down to availability and make-up of groups booked at the same time at the time of arrival but common sense would be for you to keep the one room.0 -
...and dont forget to use Quidco to get money off as Travelodge are on there...
You get £3.60 off per booking and you could always book them as separate nights. As somebody else mentioned elsewhere on MSE, you may be able to get them as £3.60 off per night if you book it as 4 separate bookings?0 -
I've just managed to book two successive nights in a Travelodge near Manchester in September for £15 a night. It was all on the same booking and went through without a problem.
There do seem to be lots of £15 rooms available at present, especially at weekends. I booked a Sunday & Monday.0 -
yes thanks for replies. i will use Quidco!
main concern is to ensure i can get a family room for 4nights even if i have to book nights 1, 2&3 and 4 all separately....as its for a conference so i know the hotel will be fully booked nearer the time - hence my concern. its not really practical to be keep moving rooms as we start early and finish late each day of the conference.0
