I love reading the Parking Prankster's blogs - a daily pilgrimage of mine to his blog site. I get withdrawal symptoms when he fails to blog (most notably at weekends). I'm a Prankster junkie.

Every blog is a real masterpiece, but superlatives defy the latest which comments on Bargepole's outstanding win, against many odds today, in beating PE - once again.

Well done Bargepole, well done Prankster.

Read and enjoy the experience :)
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Bargepole's name in lights - and deservedly so. Thanks PP :)
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Here's a cracking comment by 'Ranking Roger' to this specific blog.

PE Admin employees will soon find that all admin work will be shipped out to one of the Capita paperwork "processing plants" and that the only paperwork they are left to deal with is a P45.

As Capita have already own Optima legal services and have at least 150 fully qualified legal staff one must ask if they will need the services or a certain Preston based in house solicitor to deal with parking related matters.

Given PE are already being trounced at POPLA and now even the courts are telling them to get stuffed in relation to their claims one must wonder what will happen to the once fragrant Rachel. Surely the staff at Optima cannot know better how this could be done?

A contact of mine who is a senior partner in a "top 10" UK law firm tells me the job market is tight enough at the moment even for young solicitors who do not have the blight of an SRA investiagtion hanging over their heads.

Poor old Rachel lets hope she comes clean about this in any forthcoming interview, its one thing "crossing your fingers" when preparing a pre estimate of loss another when explaining something to a prospective employer.

I am told the job market is a lonely place, it can take forever for the phone to ring.

  • Perhaps Rachel should get her application in quick for Parking Eye's current vacancy for an Administration Assistant then:

    http://www.parkingeyejobs.co.uk/Vacancies

(Mind you if any forum users wish to apply - perhaps during computer training a few delete buttons could be pressed ... ha ha ha..)

Seriously though it is fairly obvious that Parking Eye is long overdue for un update on their template letters currently being churned out by the hundreds and it would be interesting to see all the various ones and check if they have little codes on the letters (often in header or footers) ....... anyone?

I am sure that Rachel does not even see these letters although she should be responsible for checking compliance.

Makes a complete mockery of their alleged £50 in-house fee - "open a template letter - use prompts for mail merge details, press print and post"!!!

With these vacancies cropping up, I just wonder how soon it will be before a 'plant' with hidden camera and mic gets in there?
