Halifax clarity overseas withdrawal

Hi,

I am confused as to how the interest works on this card.
Cash withdrawals. Fee: FREE | Interest on cash withdrawals?: Yes even if repaid in full

So if for example I withdrew £100 overseas at the APR of 12.9% and paid it back 15 days later, how much (approx) interest would I pay?

Would I pay a month's interest on the amount (approx £1.30)? Or 15 days (approx 75p), and if so if I paid it back nearly instantly would the charges be effectively 0?

Thanks
-O

    Interest is calculated daily.

I'm not sure how 'overseas' come into this, the interest is on a daily basis for any cash withdrawals.

It works out a great deal less than the 3% that most cards charge.

Yes you would pay 75p approx (without working out the exact figure) basically you are charged interest on a daily basis until it is paid off. Thus in theory if you paid it off the day after it is applied to your account you would pay nil interest.

I would not get stressed out, most credit cards card you at least £3 to withdraw cash. Using a HfX card in most cases you are paying pennies!!
