Parking Eye soft appeal success

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted information on this board, what an amazing resource.
I received a PCN from Parking Eye recently, for overstaying on a retail carpark. I spent an evening reading through this board for info and compiled a short letter requesting a POPLA number, and also contested the charge on several points all of which I picked up from the POPLA decisions thread here.
When I opened their reply today I steeled myself but was delighted to read that the "charge has been cancelled and there is no outstanding payment due on this account".:D
In case it helps anyone else, here are the points I made, I just wrote a few lines for each:
Receipts - I included receipts from the retail outlets but the amount was way under £30
No genuine pre-estimate of loss
Insufficient signage (even though signs are plentiful and pretty clear at the location - having been back to check)
No contract with landowner
Am so relieved I don't have to do any further appealing, thank you so much to all the contributors who posted information.

Well done! :T
It'll have been the receipts that swung it. Despite their litigious reputation, they DO tend to be quite reasonable where a "victim" can prove they were a genuine customer.0
