Can't really see Cameron arguing that he has removed green taxes and managed to persuade energy companies to reduce their energy bills only for the big 6 cartel to turn around and claim fixed means fixed! Not really a positive spin when millions took out long term fixes because they were told by Cameron to switch energy companies before he was forced to act.

    From that report:
EDF, which has one million customers on fixed deals ending in 2015 and 2017, said it would not be reducing those tariffs.
Customers are of course able to switch away at no charge though. Maybe EDF would introduce a new lower rate fixed tariff. Those customers who don't bother to look into their rates will continue to pay more, while those who do will financially benefit. Will be interesting to see, assuming the government drops the levies of course.
