SO
I ordered a sim card online pay monthly.
I got the full pack and called o2 to activate
45 minuites later i get through and am continually asked for my mobile number, I have got everything o2 sent to me, sim number, order number, no mobile number anywhere.
Eventually i give up with this idiot who seems to only want to look if i have my mobile number.
I call again in my lunch, 30 mins no answer, put the phone down return to work.
I call again now, on the phone for 1 hour and now the phone has been put down on me after needing to pass me through to another department despite my pleas for help.
I am paying for this sim and I cant get it activated for love nor money. I !!!!ing hate these companies. I hate them.

Very frustrating, but killing yourself would be a massive overreaction.0

Cancel it and get one from Tesco or GifGaff.
Both use O2 network in case you chose O2 for coverage, and both have better Sim only deals.0 -
Can't speak for Tesco but Giffgaff are a VERY good alternative and, as WDP says above, they use the O2 network anyway so you're cool that way.
Btw just let the anger go ... these companies ain't worth stressing about.0 -
Another recommendation here for GiffGaff.
If you ask a current GG member to arrange a SIM for you, both the current member AND the new member get a £5 reward.0 -

OMG DO NOT USE TESCO I have had a nightmare that would make o2 look like the model of customer service.
Please do not use Tesco you will regret it. promise! https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4799299=Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0 -

Hehe its swings and roundabouts innit, o2 for me were fine but the OP has had issues, then you're Tesco phone sounds awful yet mine (I switched last year) has been fine.
TBH The only mobile company I'd avoid again is Virgin, poor value and reception. I only lasted 6 months with them....0 -
Just walk into an O2 shop and they will sort it out for you. It's someone else's fault.0

Wanting to kill yourself? I suggest rather than worrying over a phone contract, you would be better contacting:

Another vote here for GiffGaffThey have the internet on computers now?! - Homer Simpson
It's always better to be late in this life, than early in the next0 -
