I got a pack - I had originally missed the weekly email (Damn you Gmail moving my emails around!) but saw it listed... hitting F5 from 11.59 until it went live worked for me lol!

it's not about how many they have to give away - it's the fact that myself and several other posters have noted that they submit their details within the 57 seconds and still were unsuccessful, it doesn't stack up.

Did not even bother. Last time they did this, despite having super super super fast broadband at work and refreshing dead on 12pm message said none left.

Create a manic fuss. Give away 10 or 20 to lucky people and then sell a load to people who missed out. Much cheaper and easier than advertising.

If MSE really was about saving money and not just promoting businesses that are willing to pay it. Then they would put up a link to the many guides to making your own (you just need cardboard, scissors, stapler and one of those shiny windscreen covers) rather than pushing spending more money that you need to.

Don't know what number I was - didn't see a number, but I had 2 browser windows open (IE and FF) and must've submitted at least three times on each page within the first 60 seconds only to get the server error on all 6 occasions until I eventually got the 'too slow' message.

Just a suggestion but my husband put tin foil on card and has it behind the radiators .

He's very proud of it! :rotfl:

I typed my details, got the error message, went back and pressed submit again within 57 seconds, hence I was successful.
