Anyone bought from E Bay Canon site?

I've come across this site, their cameras etc are classed as 'refurbished'.

I would appreciate anyones comments, do you think it worth while buying from them, they carry a years guarantee?

I bought a refurbished Printer (Pixma IP5000) about 18 Months ago.

No problems at all, it arrived as if it were brand new.

Obviously I can't comment on his aftersales as I didn't need them but the goods were fine.

Not from Canon, but from Brother. If anyone is worth buying from on Ebay, its the official sites, and given Canons quality, I wouldnt think twice.

We got a camera from them 3 months ago and it has been fine. Used almost daily. Recommend

I used the cannon outlet on ebay a few years ago for 2 camera (non digital) no problems at all and still going strong with sister and ex g/f.

Bought a Selphy photo printer, just been using it, as it happens. As new, in fact could have been new, no probs at all, great little bit of kit. All the comments I've seen on customer service have been fine, wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Which one of these would you recommened - or others? Im looking for a small nice digital camera for everyday use in all light conditions - from sunny holidays away in africa to rainy days in london. Needs to be small, cheap yet very good quiality Not really sure what to look for...
