NHL 2004 crashing?!?

I know this is an old game, but I really love playing it. Im having a problem with the game crashing after I have played a match. I have thought about reinstalling to fix it but dont want to lose my saved game. Does anyone know how to repair this game or where and how I can find the saved game files so I can uninstall and install again??

Most games these days tend to create as Save Game folder in your "My Documents" folder.
If so, just back it up before reinstalling.
Or have a look in the installed folder C:\program files\ea sports\etc..... for a Save Game folder0 -
EA games especially do as the last guy said - in fact i'm 90% certain NHL 04 does that. Just look in my documents (something like "games" or "saved profiles") so if you uninstall it won't remove your saves/perferences. In fact even when games don't have seperate folders, its rare for them to remove your save game files without prompting.
NHL 04 - is still the best of the NHL series btw, I can see why you are sticking to it.Faith is believing what you know ain't so...0 -
