Smart Parking (Scotland)

Hi,
My other half has had 4 or 5 fake PCN's from Smart Parking for parking in a visitors car park at an NHS hospital in Scotland. Works there but the staff car park is sometimes full.
The car park is free but has a 4 hour maximum stay. I don't know how well this information is displayed.
Smart Parking have sent the standard initial letter for 2 of the PCN's for £60 or £70. The next 2 letters have now been received from a debt recovery company looking for £130 for each of the PCN's. I don't have the letters in front of me just now for the exact details.
I have read through the information on the forum and see that the advice in Scotland is still to ignore. I just wanted to ask if this is still the correct action to take since there is more than one PCN? Other half is panicking already so hoping for a bit of back up that ignoring is the correct thing to do.
Thanks.

Ignore still applies to Scotland and Northern Ireland (but NOT in England or Wales). The only thing to be careful of is if his employer gets involved in this as a staff disciplinary thing. There have been a few recent threads where this has been the case (albeit in England) - try doing a search on 'NHS' or 'Staff Parking' and you should find these threads. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
