Unfair parking ticket - is it worth me contesting?
I received a parking ticket from a private company (BPA approved) for parking over a bay. I contested this as the reason I did this was because the parking space covered one of the pedestrian entrances and exits to the car park/store. I have also (along with others) had to park in this space before and had people damage my car using the entrance/exit. I had only had my brand new car just over a week. I appealed to the company along with photographic evidence that my car was where I said it was and shots of the space covering the entrance but have this rejected. I am told I can appeal against via BPA. Is it worthwhile to pursue?

Always appeal, but not to the BPA, but to the PPC initially, then, when that's rejected (as it will be), appeal to POPLA. You do need to know how this all works, the more you know, the better your chances of success. Spend some time reading through this.

Sorry, what? Start again, do you mean you have a POPLA code?
Follow the POPLA links then in the 'acronyms' section of the thread Umkomaas linked for you to read. Examples of how to win at POPLA, and recent POPLA successful decisions are there - and you will see that these cases are NOT won using the sort of first appeal you described! We win 100% of POPLA appeals at the mo.
DO NOT SEND AN APPEAL WITHOUT CHECKING IT WITH US HERE FIRST OR YOU WILL LIKELY LOSE.
What happened when you complained to the Store Manager of course, like anyone would.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have been into the Store and asked to see the manager but was given an email address so I have emailed him the situation to see if they can intervene0 -
And have you got a 10 digit POPLA code from the PPC, and when did you get that (date of rejection letter with the POPLA code?). If you have it runs out after day 28!
POPLA = Parking on Private Land Appeals (the second stage 'independent' appeal service which is applicable in England/Wales ONLY).
How to win at POPLA (2013 information). POPLA decisions (do not start reading there at page 1 - read back from the most recent at the end, and learn!).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
