Airprint via an access point??

Options
Problem in accessing with airprint to HP photosmart 7520 from an Ipad.

Please advise what we are doing wrong.

Setup is as follows:

Main system is XP connected via USB cable to printer, and connected via ethernet cable to Belkin router. All works well to both Internet and printer.

Belkin router also has a wpa/wpa2 wireless network with unique passphrase.

Also connected to router is a Devolo power plug, connected via the electrical network, to a second wireless powerplug.

The Devolo wireless plug has its own ssid and separate wap passphrase.

The ipad is out of range of the printer so we need to route airprint via the Devolo wireless system.

The ipad wifi is capable of seeing both the Devolo wireless network (it can also see the Belkin wireless network if we move the ipad closer).

When we select print on the ipad, it shows the HP printer, which we select but we get reports unable to do so for reasons not disclosed.

HP 7520 netwrok test results, shows passes all round, and shows configuaration for the Devolo as connected.

Any advice on what else we could try please?

Many thenks
