Powerpoint printing problems in Windows 8

Hi
Am wondering if there is anyone else out there who has had problems with Powerpoint printing.?
I have a laptop with Windows 7. my son can print his Powerpoint presentations perfectly with no problem. He has just bought himself a new laptop (due to me moaning that he keeps using mine!) which has Windows 8 on it.
He is trying to print a Powerpoint presentation of 6 pages with 6 slides per page. EVERY time he tries to do it the job cancels itself after only 2 pages being printed!!! So annoying as he has to resort to using my laptop to do his printing.
Any tips or hints would be so appreciated. I have put a post on the Microsoft website but so far had no response.
Thank you for reading this and hopefully someone can help.:j

Thank you for your reply..............I have reinstalled the drivers and all seems to be working ok now. I think it may have been a case of "getting used" to Windows 8!
