Boiler Cover Question - HELP!

I am just about to take out boiler cover and one of the stipulations is
The boiler must be serviced at least annually.
Our boiler was serviced in 99 and 2001 and hasnt been since. We are getting it serviced next weekend - should I wait til that has been done before getting the insurance? Or does it have had to have been serviced every single year since installation? Im very confused!!

get it serviced then take out a policy if its not b/gas
however british gas on taking out a policy give you a service imediately then annualy

i had a problem with mine ... took out b/gas got it sorted then cancelled 2 months later......
