Grandparents want to invest ca £3K lump sum plus £50 per month on an ongoing basis, for a 7 year old. Aim is to provide lump sum to help with Uni fees or similar.
Had previously been putting money into Alliance Trust (?) IT, but cashed this in for personal reasons.
What options/investment vehicles should be considered for the future, what should a decent IFA be looking at. Bearing in mind we are unsophisticated investors.
