I always park in this area HERE the area is run by Somerset County Council.
The notice displayed says "1 hour parking, no return within 1 hour mon - friday 9am-5pm" or something along those lines.
I park here at least once a week and have never had a problem, I only go there when I pop into town quickly or go to the post office. Im NEVER more than the hour.
Today I was 40 minutes and got a notice, which i saw whafting up as I drove off so I went to take a look at the parking sign and its still there except underneath it says "parking temporarily suspended".
Like really? Just this sign, no cones down or anything? 1 sign that is almost covered by a tree?
This is rediculous, surely?

Take photos of how the sign is concealed and then go on to Pepipoo as they are better placed to assist if this is a PENALTY charge notice issued by county councils as opposed to parking charge on private land.0
