On line share dealing for very small companies

Hi, I have accured some 'excess' in my business account, beyond what my ltd company needs in the short term for a buffer, and which quite frankly will come in handy in about 4 years, when a future plan is activated.
I've experience of small scale share dealing via an on line SIPP, and have achieved 3 times the return my other professionally managed pensions have managed.
So given the rate of interest I thought that I'd like to do the same with half of what's in my business account.
Current SIPP provider is very good, and also does a Share ISA account, Junior Share ISA account and a share dealing account.
I would go with them, but the money does not belong to an individual, and belongs to my company.
So does anyone know of an online share dealing account available to a small company rather than an individual ?

Thinking out of the box, the ltd company could pay me the money, and then I could use it, but I don't want to do that.

Indeed. I can afford to 'risk' 1/4 of what's there but can't find anyone that does small share dealing for SME's in the same way (on line for a small fee) I can do if it's an individual.

In that case, is it worth talking to your accountant about taking some of it as a dividend and investing it privately, in the hope that you can plough it back into the business when needed?

Just to consider - the company will be liable to tax on the profit made from any profit on the investment.

Also, depending on what you intend to do with the company when you retire and what assets already exists within the company, there is a risk that you will not be entitled to entrepenuers relief on the disposal of any assets including the company shares (as in, your shares in your company, not the ones share dealing) when it comes to retiring.

Could the company pay into a pension scheme on your behalf? I am by no means an expert, but this way you could get corporation tax relief and any growth will be tax free - however, the down side is that the money will not be immediately accessible.

I would really recommend speaking to someone about this in order to achieve the best return in the most efficient way without causing problems for the future.
