Hi,

Has anyone got Geographical number fir A&L Customer Services.

I have tried https://www.saynoto0870.com but the numbers there are no longer in use.

Also I will be visiting A&L Branch for Financial Review to get £25.00.

Does anyone know:-

1. How long the review would be for
2. How long does it take for £25.00 to be credited into my account

How about their 0800 credit card enquiry number? That's the one I use.

Hiya,
I worked for a branch of A&L about 5yrs ago. The financial review you are going for does depend on what type of advisor you are seeing. They are in four stages: customer advisor-counter, customer advisor-sales, mortgage advisor and financial advisor. If you are with the first two your review will take no more than 45mins however if its with an MA or FA then we used to have to book between 60mins to 90mins time slots.
Secondly, I am not aware of any non-0870 numbers for A&L I'm afraid. The whole Bank is ditching non-0870 numbers now as its cheaper for them to run those numbers than geographical numbers.

PS I think the £25 may take upto 4 weeks to reach your account. But it's been a while since I had dealings with this sort of service.

Of course it's cheaper for them if they get a share of the call charges, or fancy new equipment thrown in free of charge as a bribe for forcing customers to pay more for their calls!

The 0800 number still works - I just tried it. You just need to select option 2 for current accounts.

I have contacted A&L and they have arranged an appointment for next week. I asked for Financial review and advisor asked me - is it for investment, mortgages etc. I just said Investment. Is that right?
