Do I Claim?

Received letter from insurer today, requesting a few further details of bangle, like Make, model,age,purchase price, receipt plus written estimate to replace :
Collected new receipt from Ernest Jones today, (they managed to print off one from their till from 4 years ago...brilliant customer service!), as the original had faded, and we could just make out the date,cost and till receipt number. Also collected a written description from them and estimate to replace. Unfortunately, they can't get hold of an identical item.
Have posted all off to insurer, together with a copy of my "Lost" posters, and 10 pics printed off my pc dating back to 2003, all showing me wearing the lost bangle....even in bed and on the beach!!!!
I hope that will be enough to satisfy them, not so much to pay for the claim.....(I really don't care about replacing it if I can't get an identical one,) but they should realise that this is a genuine claim. Reading about SI departments and how insurers deal with claims from FlameCloud, while really helpful, has made me feel like I have done something wrong, even though I haven't!
