What can I claim?

Just after some advice please. I'm currently out of work as of last week. My DH earns 22k p/a, we have 3 children at home between ages 10-17.
I thought I was able to claim JSA but when I go on the GOV website it says my partner has to be working less than 24 hours per week to claim. Is this correct? Is there anything else I can claim instead? We used to be on benefits when the kids were babies but I have no idea what's available now apart from Child tax credits which we get £34 per week. I did go to the job centre but they just said go online and claim.
Thanks in advance for any help

If you have sufficient NI contributions for the years 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 then you could claim contribution based JSA for 6 months. If not then as your partner is working then you can't get income based JSA.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

Thanks both. Yes we get child benefit. No I haven't told the tax credit people, will do that tomorrow. I know they can put it up now but I also know that they base it on last years wages so in April next year they could then say we owe them.
I have always paid N.I. contributions so that isn't a problem but what about the fact that my DH works 40 hrs p/w? does that mean I can't get JSA or Income support? Is there anything else I can get? If other mums decide to stay at home and partner works, do they just claim tax credits as they are not actually looking for a job?
I'm also a bit gutted that after looking into EMA, my 2 eldest kids can't get it as it's based on wages from 2012/2013 which is mad as it's now that we need it. The kids were starting to get excited as lots of their friends get it but hey ho!
Also a bit cheeky but can I get free dental now and get my teeth done as I've not been able to afford it before?0 -

The fact that your husband works will not stop you getting JSA contribution based as I said but only for 6 months.
No it doesn't entitle you to free dental care.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
