How to stop Hotmail e-mails transferring to gmail

Some months ago I was having problems with Hotmail and someone on here told me how to move my e-mails to another account. I set up a gmail account for this purpose but as Hotmail is now working OK I want to stop the e-mails automatically moving to gmail as I don't really like gmail, but I don't know how to do this. Can anyone help or tell me where I can find instructions? TIA

My Hotmail account has changed to Outlook (still with @hotmail) the forwarding settings are on the "cog" next to your name top right, then more e-mail settings and you should see forwarding as the 3rd option

Depends whether it's set to forward messages from Hotmail / Outlook

choose don't forward option.

Delete the address you no longer want to use.

Thanks for the help - think I've managed it, but I may be back if not.Will the Pop folder disappear from Hotmail or will I have to remove it myself?

Still having trouble here Victoria.... Hotmail doesn't work properly, maybe something to do with Microsoft Account in Windows 8.
So am forwarding messages to Gmail just so that I can open them.
Will move permanently I think.

Still getting the message on Outlook that my messages are in the POP folder. How do I stop this keep appearing? TIA
