Someone Hijacking my Outlook Calendar

I use Outlook 2010. Recently on three or four occasions someone seems to have found a way of placing appointments in my calendar. When I click these they are from the usual Nigerian 419 scammers.
Does anyone know how are they able to place these appointments on my calendar and how I can prevent this in future?

Thank you, I had a look at this but unfortunately it does not work. The option they advise to uncheck is already unchecked."Some folks are wise and some are otherwise." - Tobias Smollett0

That article completely misses the point. The problem is not that Outlook is automatically accepting the appointment. It's that Outlook is tentatively blocking off the time for you to accept or decline.
I haven't tried this myself, but have you tried turning off automatic processing on arrival?
Go to Options > Mail > Tracking and turn off Automatically process meeting requests0 -
Thanks Cookie. That sounds like it could work. I'll have to wait and see."Some folks are wise and some are otherwise." - Tobias Smollett0
