there is a new website via Affinion/Experian offering a credit report for £1
http://www.privacyguard.co.uk
You can get your full experian report and credit score for £1 for a month, also you can get the deal if you have signed up to creditexpert before.

The site is actually run by "Affinion International", not "Experian".

i did notice that, but i got my letter through with my membership details and it came from Experian, Consumer Help Service, Nottingham
The customer service line also connects you to experian,to add the report comes from experian.
Affinion are also known for Sentinel Card Protection0 -
I used to work for Affinion International up until last year!

Frank Abagnale used to come in and do talks of Identity Theft and PrivacyGuard - for those that have never heard of him - Leonardo DiCaprio played him in the film 'Catch Me If You Can' ... Obviously he's a reformed character these days ...

Has anyone actually used privacyguard service.
Can you please let us know how it was like compare to other online reports. Is it easy to cancel within 30 days? and do they actually credit check the file to access the credit report?
Thanks

Why not just use experian?......... I do and I keep the 4.99 going every month. Find its dead handy knowing whats up with my details..... I use Equifax too but they are more expensive at 7.99 per month. I still think its worth it to view the details though.0
