Hi step, just wanted to say I was I the same position as you, terrified, couldn't service our debts and interest payments and owed over £25000!
We did the step change (used to be cccs) debt remedy 4 years ago, and have been on a debt management plan since then. It was the scariest and best thing we have ever done! We closed our 30 year old bank account and opened a basic account and now everything is paid for cash using, no credit at all. It's not easy, but it's a great feeling knowing that our debts are shrinking and we can get through Christmas without having to pay for it forever. Please have a look at their website, it's free and easy to do https://www.stepchange.co.uk, good luck.
P's, we consolidated 3 times! None of them worked!!0 -
