Great!
Are there 3 plant pots there or just the one as your base looks like one of those boiled sweet containers?0 -

It is a boiled sweet container plus bits from a poundland meccano set and 3 plant pots. DH made it with stuff we had lying around the house so it actually cost us nothing
I have one at the side of me now just keeping the temperature up a bit so I don't have to put the heating on just yetBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Can I ask you what size are the plant pots Butterfly.
I am going to B&Q at the weekend and would rather buy the sizes that others have used.
Ta.
By the way, the poundland meccano set stand looks like a good idea, I may have to have a go at that too.

This is interesting, I am going to hunt around in the garage for nuts and bolts tomorrow, I know I have terracotta pots of different sizes in the green house and always have tealights kicking around, so for nothing more than time I am going to give this a go!0

I am most certainly going to try this. I have a downstairs toilet, I've worked out I can fit two clothe airers in there. I'm thinking that I could light one in there and, fingers crossed, the washing should dry a lot quicker than it currently does0

Will definitely have to try and put one of these together, we're an upstairs flat and the downstairs passageway gets absolutely freezing and a little damp but really resent th idea of paying to heat a hallway that nobody is in for more than 5 minutes!
This might be a much better solution.New DFW

This may be of interest to those with a technical mind (count me out):D, not sure if it is correct or not, maybe worth a look.

Regarding the nut and bolt method using multi pots. I will have a search in the shed for longer bolts but I don't think I am going to bother buying any as I found that the little pot and tin method is throwing out a lot of heat.
As I said above, I used a Millicano tin and a 9cm wide (at top) pot which just sits nicely on the top (overhangs slightly).
I will buy a couple more of the plant pots and have 3 of these going if we need a bit of background heat or if we have a power cut.
I think having the candle in a tin seems to look a lot safer than using the bread tin method.0
