Hi all, does anyone know if there's a way to backup my apps on Android to my googlemail account or similar? It's just that I'm changing my phone and having to manually download each and every app is going to be a bit time consuming. I'm using a HTC Sensation XL. Be dead grateful for any advice.

Use a micro SD card in your phone and you can reinstall from the back up on there. My phone recently died (new PCB was required) and of course the repair wiped everything. The SD card back up saved a lot of time in doing the restore. No free lunch, and no free laptop
