Hiya,
Thought i can ask for help here:)
Last chance for my notebook.
So i used it in the morning and withouth closing put it aside. After 5 hours or so tried to 'wake it up but the screen stays black.
Did not drop it or anything. Tried rebooting, taking out ram, nada.
Any ideas?
It is hp mini 210 bought 2 years back asbargain from this website:)

Right, think i am dealing here with dead hard drive as led is not lighting up and checked all connections.
The question i have now is if i have 7 years old laptop i dont use anymore , could i replace its hdd and put in new one? What i should look out for apart from phisical size, connections and gb size? Which would be ok as i use notebook for browsing mainly.
So could i do that or do i have to buy exacly same hp specific hdd?0 -
If it was just the HDD, you could boot off a LIVE OS such as Ubuntu on a USB drive.0
