Lost My Yahoo Email Password

Hi guys, the new Yahoo mail box stinks

I've been locked out of my Yahoo email account. When I visited the page tonight it requested my password which I duely entered. Must have been te wrong one for it wouldn't let me sign in. Tried again same result. Then tried a variation of it. Well I'm sure you know the story I eventually got presented with an unreadable code

Anway to cut a long story short I eventually followed the 'I've forgotten my password' link only to discover that my subsitute email address has long since ceased to exsist

Simple question, but I'm sure there is not a simple answer - What can I do?

Got the problem solved. Eventually found the secret word box and got in from there.

Now update your substitute email address before next time?

I'm finding it OK once I turned off "Enable Conversations" in settings

If things never changed we all still be using Netscape Navigator

Thanks for the tip I've turned 'Enable Conversations' off now to see what difference it makes

You can go back to the old version if you wish.

Where there is a dropdown menu starting with Profile, select Options then select Mail Accounts.

On that screen there is a 'Switch Now' option - select Basic - problem solved.

Someone else on this site came up with this (can't remember who) but I am very grateful to them.
