lawnmower website misdescription?

Hi all, first post....
I bought a lawnmower last week from a website. On the website page the model I liked had a link to the clearance section with the words "we also have this model is available in the clearance section for only £395"
On the clearance section the description stated "unused-superficial markings"
When it was delivered it had the right model number but differed from the description and the photo on the website in 3 ways. The particular mower was also broken in 2 ways and may be missing screws (I haven't put it together and there was a hole in the box).
I complained and was told this was the old version of the mower and I had 2 options. To have it repaired and keep it or to pay an extra £60 and get it replaced by the newer model.
I don't want the old version - the lesser spec doesn't work for me. I want the new model with a few scratches!
The price this company have for the new mower is the best on the web but I do feel a bit cross and conned and they still have it advertised as such....
So are they being naughty?

It's a mistake, they can't give you what they don't have and you can't expect them to open a new one to scratch it a few times for you.
Your options are keep the one you have (maybe see if you can get a partial refund), pay the extra £60 for the brand new and better spec model or get a refund and buy elsewhere.0
