i find it unreal that newcastle BS are paying more on this account than on its netsave account, and this account only requires minimum opening balance of 1.00 whereas newcastle netsave account requires minimum opening balance of 1000.00. ( in fact no newcastle open issue savings accounts available direct from newcastle BS appear to reach the giddy heights of 5.75% gross)

whilst not allowing transfer in from another newcastle BS account, unusually the account does allow opening deposit to be made via BACS from another building society/bank account, perhaps BMW owners dont do cheques :rotfl:
