Night Storage Heater or Electric Radiator?
Comments
-
All,
Thank you very much for some great and positive feedback to my problem.
To add to this i had a meter change back in Sept from 2 seperate meters & timeclock to an all in 1 digital. EDF attended my property today as i suspected it had been wired incorrectly! So my recent worry about my high bills and the need for a heating change was down to an incorrectly installed new electricity meter.
Long story short - the off peak heating was drawing power 100% of the time, not only during my 10 hours off off peak as it should. A claim will to EDF will not be far in the future!
So as suggested by Nada666 i am going to keep my current underfloor heating for now and see if i can manage with the 3 hours boost in the afternoon. Now my meter is fully working correctly i can hopefully manage my appliances/heating to take advantage of my E10.
If i still feel i need a change i will definitely be moving towards storage heater's, as suggested by you here.
I would like to thank you all again for thorough and quick responses to my issue.
Wish me luck!0
