Turn this round slightly, people who are working still go for interviews for other jobs, if they are then offered a work trial they are unable to do so. They would need to arrange some leave from work.

All you had to say was can I start the day after to allow me chance to speak to JCP and ensure I still recieve by benefit if you aren't going to pay me? Had you have done this there would have been no issue and JCP would also have paid your travel expenses. Sorry but rules are rules regardless.

And I am available for work. If a different employer rang me today for example one i went for an interview with on the 5th of november and offered me the job, i would accept it.

Why does it matter that they dont know about it, they havent gave me no help for over 6 months and all of a sudden they care what im doing.

All they have to do is sign me on as i am still unemployed.
They didnt mind sending me for work experience but this is a problem?

And i did let them know as soon as i could.
