I found this laptop on eBay's Daily Deals section:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Acer-TM-15-6-Intel-Dual-Core-8GB-RAM-750GB-HDD-Laptop-/360784837705
My sister is after a new laptop for web browsing, word processing, Skype, etc. I'm a little concerned about the processor. Is it a good processor? It's one of Intel's new generation processors - so I haven't heard of it.
Advice welcome!

its a fairly weak processor, but its perfectly adequate for the usage you mention.
if you are just after a basic cheap laptop, then you should be able to find something cheaper than that.
might be able to find an AMD laptop that will do the job for about £2500
