Tried using masonary nails but they won't go in the cement or the brick. Do I have to drill?
Thanks
Thanks

I would second what al mac has said. drill 2 batons top and bottom for the trellis to sit on. so it is about 1 inch away from the wall.
And you will need to screw it on.
hope that helps

Drill the wall and use rawlplugs and screws. Alternatively you can buy "special" screws for walls,(screwfix sell them) that you drill a slightly smaller hole and then juts screw into.
Sometimes you can be lucky to get a nail to stay but it wll soon work loose overtime so its best to avoid (and you will probably damage the surround area of the brick when it goes in).0 -
Thanks everyone, guess I'll have to be patient and get a man to do the drilling for me!
Doug - I soon found out about the crumbly wall when I tried banging nails in!!Shanni0
