iPhone 4 Flickering

My mum's iPhone 4 has started flickering madly. I've taken a (not very good!) video of it happening. As you can see it calms down with touch, and restarts again straight away.

It hasn't been dropped, or anything that may account for it.

I've tried searching - the only fix I've seen suggested is turning off auto-brightness for awhile, and that didn't make a difference - and was still flickering when it was off.

Any suggestions appreciated!

    I'd suggest going to an Apple Store (you would need to make an appointment with a "genius").

    Or perhaps just try a reset. Make sure you backup to itunes first. :)
