Hi guys
This is a bit of a strange one ... Ive lost my driving licence (both photo card and paper) I've searched the house and can't find it .. I'm going on holiday in January and hoping to hire a car so I thought I had better apply for a new one ...
Well problem is my addresses ... I originally got my licence when I lived at address 1, me and hubbie them moved house and rented out old house but I never got around to changing address, well me and hubbie split and I have moved back to original address 1 (which is on my licence, wherever it is) ... What do I do about previous addresses .... ?
I was going to replace over the phone if possible and I wasn't sure if I would have to tell them about address 2 as I'm guessing I'll get a fine or something for not changing address, but as I'm back at address 1 which is on the licence then will I have to ?
Oh and stupid me lost the book of numbers I keep which had my licence number in it
Thanks a million Lisa

what you need to do about the previous address is stop thinking you have to do anything about it as it's irrelevant information to them now.
not sure if you can do it over the phone but you can get a form from the post office or the DVLA will send them out.
Fill the form in and it'll get sent to your address, which is the same address that's on your old license.0 -
If you have a recent passport you can renew online..
https://www.gov.uk/renew-driving-licence
It asks you to state what's happened to you old licence during the renewal if you've lost it. If you're back at the original address I wouldn't mention it now, it's not going to achieve anything other than hassle for you.0 -

Nothing at all, it's irrelevant as you haven't broken any laws.mumofthetwins wrote: »Hi guys

All DVLA need is your name and date of birth, anything else is irrelevant.Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
Make sure you go to the DVLA website ending in gov.uk. There's some scam organisations advertising at the top of google sites who are a rip off!0
