Just a 'heads up' that Amazon have released software version 5.3.9 for the original Paperwhite e-reader.

You can either turn on your Paperwhite's Wi-Fi and hope it downloads automatically, or manually download the .bin file (it is a humungous 163Mb) and install it yourself.
