Laptop Key Problem

So, my "F" was sticking so I decided to take the key off to clean it. Now I can't put the darn thing back on!
I have both parts of the retainer clip but DH says that the metal hooks that it hooks on to in the actual keyboard are slightly bend inwards making it impossible for the retainer clip to hook on.
Is there an easy to to unbend them? (i.e.not breaking my laptop in the process?
The key missing is sending my OCD into a tizz!
It's a Sony Vaio VPCEB3J0E.

I removed/replaced keys using Youtube videos and online guides for Lenovo and Apple laptops. The space bar and the return keys are the most difficult as they have more than one clip.
Search Youtube for Sony key removal e.g.
