Euro Car Parks pcn - pls help!

My mother and I decided to go into the store to complain and dispute the ticket. I thought it was at least worth a try!
The girl at the customer service desk said that Euro Car Parks are independent and to contact them direct. We then asked to speak to the manager. She called and the deputy store manager walked up to us with a very sour look on her face.
My mum explained about the pcn and how it was unfair on customers especially if they have disabled children with them (my little brother has a disability). She explained that sometimes it just takes longer to go about her daily shop. This manager then said we should of come into the store prior to let them know. I asked where are the signs that state this and she replied there are none.
We then said we had seen online information about unjust tickets and how explaining situations to the manager was the done thing to do. She replied "oh so you've talked to people online have you", I said "I've seen information online", then she started to raise her voice saying "there are two of you here", I said yes there are.
Then she directed her anger towards me saying "Am I talking to you", I said "Well you're looking at me". Then says I'm not talking to you anymore, the tickets not in your name anyway. Then stands shoulder to shoulder with me.
She then tells my mother "oh you used to work here", and in a loud voice in front of full view of customers and staff say's "I know you, you were dismissed". My mother promptly told her "excuse me, I left of my own accord", the manager replies "no you weren't, you were dismissed", my mother then told her that was absolute rubbish and could have her for slander". We then asked her to write her full details down so we could make a formal complaint about her.
She then storms off and says "I'm not even dealing with the parking ticket now"
We've come home and called up to speak to the actual store manager but he isn't in until 9am tomorrow morning.
I will of course carry on with the appeal etc but this has just left me very angry indeed!
Aren't store managers supposed to be polite and helpful. Will definitely avoid this store in future!0 -
Well that's gonna make a humdinger of a complaint to the CEO of Morrisons now then!
His email address is on the Successful Complaints sticky thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Tell me about it!
Just going through that thread now. Might write the complaint when I've calmed down a bit. This only happened about 40 minutes ago!0 -
Also is it best to appeal using their online system or with a typed up letter?0

That's an absolute hammer blow for Morrisons - I'm sure their CEO would like to hear about this incident.
CEO Email address is dalton.philips@morrisonsplc.co.uk
Customer Service is customerservice@morrisonsplc.co.uk
Make sure that all the information above is included, as well as the initial complaint about the parking charge. Then DEMAND it gets cancelled.
And do it by email, not letter - much more efficient. This is my *anonymous* account on MSE Forums - I post under a different username normally.0 -
I know, I can't believe it either!
Will definitely follow it up with a call to the actual store manager at 9am sharp.
Euro Car Parks has an online appeal system, should I use that instead of a formal written letter?
Thank you for your quick reply

For the initial appeal just use their system - unless ECP are getting into the spirit of Christmas then the appeal will be rejected anyway. (If they even bother to read it).
It is the POPLA appeal that needs more attention. Plus the Mrs Angry from Tunbridge Wells emails to Morrisons.
