the first weel was for 4 days 8.30 to 5.30
second week 8.30 and 5.30 for five days
well not sure re holiday pay
  • What did they put in writing about your hourly rate?
How long was your lunch break each day as surely you did not work right through without a break and breaks do not have to be paid?
Are those amounts you have shown for the two weeks meant to be gross or net of tax and NI?
Have you worked elsewhere or received JSA since April? If so, did you give the agency a P45?
What have they given you in writing about holidays? You should be entitled to be paid for holiday amounting to at least 12.07% of the hours you worked. You will have to ask for this or it could be forfeited.
What do your two payslips show regarding your tax code and the number of hours worked? Do the hours match with your signed timesheets?

Can you advise the gross amounts (ie without deductions) as it will make it easier to work out?

What was your lunch actually I know you have said it was max 30 mins but what was your actual entitlement?

Well assuming that they counted it as 8 hours a day (i.e. 1 hour unpaid lunch hour)

Hourly rate for 1st week £9.33
Hourly rate for 2nd week £9.36

which seems a bit odd. Plus there is also the issue of holiday pay.

I would contact the agency looking for clarification and keep it nicey nicey to start with.

Did you ever get clarification of your actual rate?

With temporary work, don't you have to be in the role for a certain amount of time before you start earning holiday pay?

If you were 8:30 - 5:30 with 1 hours lunch, then you're on an 8 hour day / 40 hour week. Looking at http://www.thesalarycalculator.co.uk/hourly.php.
32 hours at £11.20 an hour = £297.92 take home
40 hours at £11.20 an hour = £354.84 take home

If they were paying £10 - £12 an hour then your wage is about right.
