Cyclamen hanging basket....??

I bought a cyclamen hanging basket back in the late summer and I planted the bulbs, watered it well and left it in the shed, covered with a piece of cardboard, as the instructions stated.

I have now lost the instructions, the bulbs have started peeking out from the top of the compost and I can't remember what I should do with it now!

Can I bring it out and hang it up on my garden wall, which is sheltered and not in direct sunlight? When will it flower and what should I do with it during the hard winter months?

I'm in the south so we've not had any frost yet but I'm not sure how to care for it or if it will survive the winter etc.
