Tax Bands on Property

On my council tax bill it says that i am in band C. yet i just checked on the website and it says that i am in band B. am i paying to much and do you think i should appeal or am i not paying enough?

If you scroll down the page there are step by step instructions on how to value your house as it would have been in 1991. Then you can decide which you think is correct.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

How long have you lived in your house? Only if you only moved in recently & the previous owners had added an extension then the property moves up a band once the house has new owners.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
It doesn't necessarily move up a band, but you're totally right, cattie, that if the property has been extended, it should be re-evaluated when the property changes hands.
