A friend who is in receipt of benefits has an endownment mortgage which is due to end next year. There is a shortfall in the endownment policy at the moment. What will happen about the shortfall, will they be expected to pay the shortfall next year, will they have to take out a loan next year or what will happen?
Can anyone offer any advice?
