No Free W/E for me!

I am not able to sell free this weekend. It appears that my selling performance is below standard.
Looking at my dashboard I have a red figure of 7.2% under p&p.
I do sometimes combine postage for buyers and only charge what it would cost me, so I have reduced costs heavily. Is this why I am not up to standard. I only sell a few items per month but have not sold for over two months now and have not been aware of this performance status. How can I improve and then be able to sell on free weekends.

If it really does show 7.2% then it is very serious. What number-is given by that , you want 3 maximum otherwise you are facing suspension. The actual limit before you hit problems is 2% *and* 3 low stars.

Have a look at the expanded seller dashboard thread, you may need to be very pro active here to save your account.

Next to the 7.28% is (11). It actually gets worse if I look at the three month report. That is 13.4%(11). My feedback is 235 with 100% rating. I don't understand what the p&p rating is referring to and how it can be so bad. I don't overcharge, a lot of items have been collected, I seriously am not making any profit from the p&p.
I am really annoyed that I do not have access to selling on free weekends.

Have free postage from now on and hope things improve.

As forgetmyname says you need to go free postage from now on, it is your only hope of saving your account. You are in a better position than many as at least you can guarantee no more low stars in your problem category. Free postage means an automatic 5* in that category.

I don't think I've ever seen such a high percentage of unhappy buyers before , you really need to work out what is going wrong.

Have a read of the thread I linked to above, you need to start selling in quantity to try and reduce the percentage , you MUST get below 2% to keep your account.

I only had 2 low stars for postage and it took me 12 months to regain access to the free listings. There is no quick fix I am afraid unless you sell high volume with free P&P from now on.

Never seen such bad stars before - what are you posting, and what are you charging compared to what it costs you?

I have sold a lot of old postcards. They sell for between £1 and £5. Postage costs are 50p each. When a buyer has bought more than one, I do not charge more than 50p in total, so I cannot understand this low rating. I did have a buyer who bought 11 cards and charged him £1.50 in total, as I sent it with proof of posting. Could this one transaction have resulted in the 11 unhappy rating?
I must own up to the fact that I did not understand the meaning of the sellers dashboard.
Who would make the decision to suspend my account and when could that happen. Should I contact ebay, or just keep a low profile until i am able to increase the scores.

Does someone have it in for you and could have destroyed your feedback on purpose? Or maybe the person with the 11 cards clicked on 1 star instead of 5?

The process for suspension is automatic, keeping a low profile could make it a lot worse. You could phone eBay, don't use live help, and ask them to take a look especially if all 11 low stars appeared at same time.

Seriously, take a look at the thread I linked to,earlier, the first few posts will explain what needs to be done.

I've been selling my old postcards, and have bought a few as well.

I charge 70p for a single postcard which people seem happy with - and seems lower than average.

50p is obviously just the price of a stamp- so way cheaper than the norm.

I think the 11 cards could have gone for a large letter under 100g, so that'd be 69p, but that'd be harsh to trash your stars for being charged £1.50.

Is there anything else you've sold apart from the postcards?
