My 18yo son needs driving lessons. Can anybody recommend a school/instructor?

I saw a car the other week with 'Drive Dynamics' on the side advertising 10 lessons for £99. That sounds really cheap but after using google, perhaps I'll look elsewhere

The issue with instructors. What suits one person may not suit another.

Have a trial lesson and maybe a few single lessons before committing.

Can't your son get recomendations from his contemporaries who is the best locally, or failing that you get some off his friends' parents?

I've heard loads of good reports about Jackie:

She's like a Mum in one instance and someone who understands her market: She turns up for your lesson, sees that you got bladdered the night before and recommends that you aren't really in the best shape for a lesson and rebooks you with no charge.

Good job i am not a driving instructor. If someone turned up and appeared drunk i would have cut their licence up and tell them they are obviously not fit to be a driver.

Drink and driving has always been a big no in my book.

Not drunk but certainly hungover with the teenage need for huge amounts of sleep.
