Pre-existing electric & new pre-pay gas

I was wondering if someone could guide me a bit please?

We have bought another house which we are renovating and going to rent to a family member.
There was already a pre-pay key for electric (British Gas supply), and we have had a gas supply brought to the house, have a white box on the wall, and I need to get a pre-pay card meter for gas.

I have just half tried to go through Quidco to get possible £50 from Quidco for changing provider. I have put the details in with a new provider with electric as a pre-paid key, but of course I don't have a meter at all for gas. So what do I do when it asks for the "gas" details we have already-there is no option to put no tariff etc in.

Am I being too greedy to try ad get £50 for duel fuel switch on re-pay meters for both?
Should I do the switch, through Quidco and hope it tracks, pretending I have a pre-pay gas meter fitted, then ring up and explain I want to go with the supplier but I need a meter?
Or do I just do the electricity switch through Quidco for half the cash back, then ring the same supplier (or any supplier) and ask for a gas pre-pay meter to be fitted?

I have never has a pre-pay meter so all this is new to me. I know that it's much more expensive, but with what is going to happen with the house in the future I don't have an option at the moment.

Thank you in advance.

The gas will fail, you need a supplier assigned as a new connection as an mpr will need to be assigned
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Thank you, okay I'll just do a single fuel change for the electric through Quidco then. I have worked out a cheaper supplier, for electric taking into consideration some companies have put up prices and some haven't not that it's that cheap!!

Then I'll work out the cheapest for gas and just ring them to ask for a meter.
Is the meter free if I am going to use the supplier I get the meter from......if you see what I mean?

    Thank you.

    Sorry, you have lost me?
I know I'm being a bit thick here.......but never had to do this before......

We've just had new gas pipes brought to the door by Wales & West Utilities, the white box and gas is ready for a meter to be attached...........?
